ANNUAL HARRIS HILL SKI JUMP TO BE HELD FEBRUARY 18 & 19, 2017,
in BRATTLEBORO, VERMONT

Two Day Event Will Include the U.S. Cup Finals

Brattleboro, VT–The Harris Hill Ski Jump, the only Olympic-sized, 90-meter ski jumping hill in New England, will host its annual two-day ski jumping event February 18 and 19, 2017. The event will feature the Brattleboro-specific Fred Harris Memorial Tournament and the Pepsi Challenge.

Founded in 1922, the annual jumping competition held on Harris Hill attracts several thousand spectators each year not only to watch local jumpers reach great heights but also to view world renowned jumpers soar in the sport of ski jumping. Seven different countries were represented at last year’s event.

A family-focused event, the Harris Hill Ski Jumping Competition weekend includes opening ceremonies featuring local musical artists, appearances by Jumper the mascot, food and drink vendors, a bonfire and more. The anticipation and excitement of the spectators, focus and friendliness of the athletes, and festive atmosphere make the southern Vermont ski jump a favorite among jumpers.

Gates will open each day at 10 am, with the first trial jump at 11 am. Ticket sales for the event will commence in January 2017. Pricing is scheduled to be $20 adults, $15 youth (age 6-12 years). Age five and younger are always free. For details on the event and early ticket sales, please visit HarrisHillSkiJump.com or follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
